So uh hey, Happy Thanksgiving from Ecuador y’all. Even though it’s basically midnight.

Today 50 lives were saved. Jesus came into the hearts of 50 kids.

For those of you who don’t know, my team and I are at a school called T.W. Anderson for ministry. While being here, I have been working with the 8, 9, and 10. I am absolutely in love with these kids. I’ve also been developing relationships with some of the other kids, so the sophomores, seniors, and the kids in the IB class. Not all of the kids believe in Jesus. Some of them don’t like religion, some of them believe in multiple God’s, some of them say their faith is more of their parents rather than their own, some go by sight rather than faith, and some don’t believe in anything at all. Being at this school and being able to speak into these kid’s lives has been so fruitful for myself. It’s made me really want to go deeper and deeper with Lord. I never want to stop exploring His heart.

So, since the first day at ministry we were told we were in charge of the Thanksgiving party thing at the school. They don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here but apparently an American dude founded the school so it’s a thing at T-Dubs (T.W. Anderson). So we planned some crafts, the kids said some Thanksgiving phrases in their incredible English; I swear they speak better English than me. We put on a skit, and Chloe prepared an incredible talk for the students.

So a little of what Chloe talked about today was how there’s a spot waiting for you at Jesus’s table. And how He loves you so so much. She shared part of her testimony with the kids, which I think really meant a lot to them. So at the end, she explained how this seat at Jesus’s table is waiting for them. So she had all the kids close their eyes, and asked that any of them that wanted to accept Jesus into their hearts to raise their hand. Y’ALL, OVER 50 KIDS RAISED THEIR HANDS TODAY. OVER 50!!!! I now have 50 more brothers and sisters in Christ. That is seriously so incredible. GOD IS SO INCREDIBLE. I am so thankful for these kids and teachers at this school and the opportunity to serve them and just hangout with them all day.

I am seriously so thankful for so many things. Like I said I am so thankful for these kids’s lives I get to be involved in, for these incredible friendships within my squad I have made, for my team I spend every waking moment with, who challenge (in a great way) and encourage me daily. I am also so thankful for the fact that I have incredible friends and family back home that I’m able to miss so much because they’re so great, and for the technology that I am able to use to talk to them from all the way across the world. Today, I am most thankful that Jesus gave up His life so that I may have life. Aahhh, He’s a homie.

Fun Fact: My team and I seriously love each other so much that we literally put all of our bunk beds together so we could sleep right next to each other, cause being with each other every waking moment of everyday isn’t enough. It’s great, I love these girls. They’re definitely some of my very best friends. No joke. I’m literally going to end up with 20 bridesmaids at my wedding, not even playing dudes.

Peace Out Homies.

Also 2 of my teammates, Chloe and Hannah, aren’t quite fully funded yet. In order for them to stay on the field for the whole 9 months they need to have all the money raised by January. If you feel led to give to them just go hit up their blogs. Also, while you’re there feel free to read their blogs to see what the Lord’s been doing in their lives & hearts over the past couple months. They’re incredible people.
