One thing I find myself doing every morning during our bus ride to school is looking out the window and watching the people we pass by. I can’t help but wonder who these people are. I want to know what their dreams consist of, what they’ve been through in life, if they love Jesus, if they love themselves, what they’ve been able to celebrate. I want to know people on a deeper level. It drives me crazy that 90% of the people in this world I will never know to that extent. It makes me realize how lucky I am to know the people I do know, and to know them on a extraordinary level.

There’s this quote I came across once and I want to share it with you. I don’t think I’ve ever related to something more in my life.

“It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for – and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing. It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool – for love – for your dreams – for the adventure of being alive.

I love people and I want to know who they are, not just surfaced level.”

I long to know why people believe the things they believe, why they dream the things they dream, why they’ve struggled with the things they’ve struggled with, why the hate the things they hate, why they love the things they love, and so on. I want to know people deeper than just they whole yeah I know your name and your favorite color. I want to know what makes you alive. What you thrive for. I want to know the person the Lord created you to be, because that has so much depth and beauty to it. I want to know these things about people because I genuinely love them. I love because God loves.

I once got told by someone that I inspire them. I hope that is because of the way I love.

Peace Out Homies.
